Quality Control Unit

This unit has been starting to work with the direct order of deputy director of treatment of Mashhad University of medical sciences in this hospital since June 2010. It is located in the third floor of the first phase of the hospital, and it is directly supervised by the manager of the hospital. Now the national and international accreditation plans of Canada are being performed in order to improve the quality of clinical and safety services. These plans are in accordance with the objectives of Ministry of Health. In addition, the ISO standards including IMS((ISO9001, ISO18001, ISo14000, ISO10015 training standard, ISO50001 energy management standard, ISO27000 information security management standard, ISO22000 and HACCP safety and nutrition health standard are being implemented for improving the quality of the organization.
- Designing the strategic plan of the hospital with supervision of hospital executive managers’ team.
- Determining and sharing the hospital mission announcement in different units of the hospital.
- Designing the annual practical plan; coordinating, performing and integrating the quality improvement plans; improving the safety of the patient in accordance with accreditation pattern
- Designing the quality improvement plan of the hospital in both clinical and non-clinical matters (management, financial affairs, medical services, nursing services, public services, para clinical services, etc.)
- Coordinating and integrating the activities of quality improvement in hospital
- Doing constant survey of quality improvement plan, data, activities, and managerial intrusions through analyzing the indexes
- designing the systems and procedures of the hospital based on the principles of improvement
- designing the major practical indexes which are specific, measureable, accessible and timely for different processes in hospital
- Annual report of quality improvement program in the hospital
- approving and announcing the policies of different sections of the hospital
- observing the process of policies being done in different sections
- coordinating the implementation of accreditation standards in different units of the hospital
- coordinating and integrating the quality improvement activities in the hospital
- constant observation on performance of approvals of the hospital other committees
- following up the referral matters from the quality improvement unit
- doing other things based on the order of the superior manager
- cooperating with the experts from other units in the field of evaluation, hospital organization, and so on
- implementing management quality systems (ISO, EFQM, etc.)
- investigating and analyzing the existing conditions, and proposing scientific and practical solutions to remove the shortages of the system
- gathering information related to the general needs of the hospital (building, tools, equipment, etc.), need to be fixed and so on; and writing the related reports and give them to the authorities
- cooperating in hospital internal audit
- writing the report of audit and following up the changed activities
- observing the analysis of indexes and practical plans
- observing the complete procedure of accreditation of the wards through accreditation software
- holding monthly meetings with the representatives of quality improvement
