Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Congress Will be Held in Razavi Hospital
The annual nuclear medicine and molecular imaging congress will be held in Razavi Hospital.
According to the Public Relations of Razavi Hospital, Astan News stated that the congress is the 21st annual and 6th international congress in the field of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging in Razavi Hospital.
The congress will be held on November 22-24, 2017 with the presence of four foreign lecturers from Canada, Germany, Netherlands and Denmark as well as 82 others from the country.
Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, the Iranian Society of Nuclear Medicine, Imam Reza (A.S.) International University as well as the University of Bonn, Germany have cooperated with Razavi Hospital to hold the congress; and about 400 people will attend the congress.
At a press conference, the CEO of Razavi Hospital expressed that a workshop on Quality Control of Hybrid Imaging Instruments, PET/CT and SPECT/CT, as well as two seminars entitled Physics Seminar and Radiopharmacy Seminar will be held on the sidelines of the congress. 
“Modern diagnostic methods in the field of nephrology, cardiology, thyroid, parathyroid, PET/CT applications, nuclear medicine in treatment, skeletal, protection in nuclear medicine departments as well as presenting noteworthy samples and cases are among the main topics of the congress” Ghassem Soltani added. 
“Holding such congresses has a significant role in the exchange of scientific knowledge because technology is always at the disposal of developed and Western countries; and the acquisition of this information costs a lot and we could well absorb these enhancement at a lower cost through holding such congresses and inviting foreign specialists and experts” he continued.
